Welcome to Zi Mei Events

Zi Mei Events is a Brisbane based Events Management business. One of our objectives is to provide quality, evidence-based professional development events to professionals including those employed in the allied health and education sectors. 

 

July 2010 Update

June /July have been busy months with the much anticipated PRPP - The Perceive: Recall: Plan and Perform System Assessment workshop, as well as ABCs of Report Writing and our regular Teaching Functional Handwriting for Written Communication workshops and the Management of Upper Limb Hypertonicity workshops.  During this time I have also able to confirm the Visual Perceptual Skill in the Classroom for September and A guide to using “Clinical Observations” workshop in November.  These were popular EOIs, so ensure your register early to avoid missing out .  Feel free to browse the website—or to get a snapshot download our latest newsletter.

 

 

 

Registration/Tax Invoice Reminder

As Tax time is upon us once again, I just thought I would take this opportunity to remind participants that your Registration Form is a Tax Invoice.  It meets the requirements set out by the Australian Tax Office.  Please keep copy for your records.

 

A confirmation email will generally be sent within 3-5 days of registering for an event – if you have not received a response in that timeframe, please contact us so that we can confirm we have received your registration and payment.

 

Expression of Interest

EOIs allow us to gauge the response to workshop ideas to ensure we are meeting the needs of participants.  Unfortunately without receiving sufficient EOIs we are unable to proceed with workshops.  We Presently have some interest in the Exploring the OT Toolbox and OT and Autism workshops—this will be the final attempt to gauge numbers before deciding to go ahead with these workshops (or not).

 

Workshops suggested by participants (eg ADOS training, Management of Upper Limb Hypertonicity —Melbourne) have also been included in our latest newsletter.
